Georgia "G" Cake
This cake was served at a rehearsal dinner for a Georgia Bulldog fan. That "G" is as recognizable around here as any letter can be.

Flip Flops for a Cause
Last weeks cookies for the cause were flip flops. Bright colors and style perfect for summer snacking! It's so nice to add money to the bucket designated for the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. Thank you!

Cinderella's Castle
Using Wilton's Castle Cake Set, I modified the suggested designs to resemble Cinderella's castle. The towers and turrets were covered with fondant but the cake is buttercream. I hope this cake helped make Lexie's party extra special!
The impression on the fondant towers and the buttercream cake were made using a basketweave impression mat. Tiny flowers are gumpaste. |

Mitchell's Baby Shower
Now that he's had his first birthday (with Curious George), I'll share Mitchell's monkey shower cake and what I call "bottoms up" cookie favors.
A monkey topper and rattle! |
A cookie artist on cakecentral website named GeminiRJ shared the template
for these cookies that she designed based on a baby shower invitation.
I was so happy to have the chance to use her cute design.
Thanks GeminiRJ!

More Cookies for a Cause
I'll be walking with my niece in a fundraiser for the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance in September, so I'm starting a little fundraising now. This cause is near and dear to our hearts and we hope to do our part in promoting education about this insidious disease.
Cookies for Fun!
What a perfect idea for a summertime kid's gathering... stay out of the heat at a bowling birthday party!!
This party celebrated Avery's 9th birthday!
