Both of these cakes had additional decorations added at the party.

Cookies for Christmas

Some of my favorite cookie designs are for Christmas, whether the classic rolled sugar cookie or gingerbread.  A personalized cookie wrapped and ribboned makes a great stocking stuffer.

Snow globe designs using a round cutter.

Using a snow globe cutter, I added names.

An ornament cutter shaped cookie iced with rolled fondant and stenciled with royal icing.

Gingerbread minis prepared for a holiday tea.

Mini gingerbread snowflakes with royal icing and silver sanding sugar,

Two Very Hungry Caterpillars!

A popular theme for baby showers these days is the very hungry caterpillar from an adorable children's book.

A Pink Birthday Cake!

When asked for a chocolate cake with pink icing, I took the opportunity to decorate the cake with designs inspired by some quilling cakes that I had seen online.  Modern, yet girly, I think.  Hope you had a happy birthday, Jana!!

A mixture of fondant and gumpaste was cut into strips and rolled to create the flowery designs.

A Very Special Anniversary

Made for a beautiful and blessed couple with a loving family.  Congratulations!

All buttercream except for a few candy pearls and fondant numbers.

It had been a long time since my Wilton class days of struggling with
the buttercream rose.  I called them cakeworthy.
